Château Tournefeuille Grand Vin 2019 is a wine of exceptional depth and character from one of Lalande de Pomerol's finest estates. The nose is complex and multi-layered — dark berries, cassis, blueberry, and violet are interwoven with iris, truffle, and a seductive hint of espresso. On the palate it is full-bodied and richly textured, with sweet, ripe plum and black cherry flavours buoyed by silky tannins and a touch of dark chocolate and spice. The blue clay terroir shared with Pétrus gives the wine a silkiness and depth that belies its appellation. Dense, structured, and built for the cellar — but irresistible now with a decant.

~65% Merlot and ~35% Cabernet Sauvignon. 70% from 50-year-old vines, 30% from 30-year-old vines in Néac, Lalande de Pomerol. Blue clay and gravel terroir. Hand-harvested. Fermented in temperature-controlled concrete vats. Aged 18 months in French oak barrels. Location: Château Tournefeuille, Néac, Lalande de Pomerol.
