Named for the Dashwood Pass separating Marlborough's two great valleys, Dashwood Chardonnay carries Vavasour's winemaking hallmarks at an approachable price. Fresh stone fruit and peach lead the nose, with light hints of vanilla from careful oak maturation. On the palate, Marlborough's characteristic bright acidity provides a clean, refreshing spine to the fruit, while a creamy mid-palate adds texture and satisfaction. An honest, consistent Chardonnay that rewards every occasion.
