Tasting Notes

Grove Mill has been farming organically since 1994, and the difference is in the glass. This Wairau Valley Pinot Gris carries the hallmarks of chemical-free viticulture: generous fruit intensity, textural richness, and a lingering finish that speaks of healthy soils and patient hands. Pear, apple and white peach are spiced with a gentle hint of ginger, leading to a palate that is lush and off-dry — juicy and satisfying, with cleansing acidity preventing any heaviness. A wine as good for the planet as it is for the palate.
